  • Writer Im Jong-deok

    Im graduated from Sungkyunkwan University's Department of Life Science and went on to pursue a master's degree and PhD in the US. He received a master's degree in natural history museum studies at the University of Nebraska and a PhD in vertebrate palaeontology at the University of Kansas. He worked as BK professor at the Earth Environment Science Department of Seoul National University and is currently an academic researcher at the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage's Natural Heritage Center working towards finding and researching dinosaur fossils in and outside of Korea. He has written Searching for Missing Dinosaurs; The Time Capsule the Dinosaurs Left; The Time Machine Made from Stone, Fossils, and others.

  • lllustrator Oh Hyeon-gyun

    Oh majored in Western painting at Hansung University. Being highly interested in plants and animals along with the natural environment, he has illustrated science-related pictures. He is currently a member of the Korea Published Art Association and works as an illustrator. He has illustrated Children of the Dinosaur Age; Baby Science; A Letter of Korean History; Do You Want to Be My Friend?; Meet the Dung Beetle in the Field; Marrying off the Dwarf Juniper, and others.

  • Writer Shin Hyeon-jeong

    Shin graduated from Seoul National University and studied earth science education at the graduate school of the same university. She currently teaches earth science at a high school. She has written The Earth Is Busy Today Too!; Our House Is a Science Laboratory!; Q&A of Hong Dae-yong, and others.

  • lllustrator Han Seung-mu

    Han studied visual design at Hongik University. He currently creates animated works in Australia and works on illustrations with writer Im Hyo-yeong under the name "To Space." He has illustrated Kiktakpong Goes to School; Say It with Confidence, and others.

  • Writer Kim Yeong-ju

    Kim studied biology at the Catholic University of Korea and received a PhD there. She is currently teaching students at the Catholic University of Korea and writing children's picture books.

    Books that she has written include The White Mouse Story; Animals with Bones Story; Which One's the Boss?, and Similar Animals and Different Animals.

  • lllustrator Shin Yong-ho

    Shin studied visual design at Dankook University. He works both as a graphic designer and as an illustrator. He made educational textbooks for the National Museum of Contemporary Art's Nam Jun Paik Exhibition, 100 Years of Korean Art History Exhibition. What's Emotion? is a book that he has illustrated.

  • Supervising Editor Min Mi-suk

    Min graduated from Inha University's Biology Department and received a PhD for her research in animal statistical evolution taxonomy at the graduate school of the same university. After serving as president of the Korean Society of Herpetologists, she is currently a BK professor at Seoul National University's Veterinary College.

    Park Jin-yeong graduated from Kyunghee University's Biology Department and received a PhD in ornithology at the graduate school of the same university. He is currently doing research on bird fauna, the migration routes of migratory birds and other related topics at the Ecological Restoration Department of the National Institute of Environmental Research.

  • Writer Park Hae-cheol

    Park received his PhD in entomology at Korea University's graduate school.

    He is currently a research analysis at the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences' Insect Industry Department. He mostly conducts research on the diversity of insects and cultural insects. He has written Making Friends with Insects; Blue Child Firefly; Everything About Beetles; The Enormous Heroes of Nature, and others.

  • lllustrator Heo Hyeon-kyeong

    Heo studied business administration at college. She loves illustrations and is currently working as an illustrator. She joyfully illustrates with her cats Minam and Midong.

    She has illustrated Science Hidden in the Holidays; Fun Historical Experience Children's Museum; An Earth Guidebook for Aliens; Antarctica Stories that Even Penguins Don't Know, and others.

  • Writer Hwang Bo-yeon

    Hwang graduated from Korea National University of Education's Department of Biology Education and received a PhD in behavioural ecology at Kyunghee University's Department of Biology.

    Currently, he is doing research on natural ecology at Songnisan National Park as well as writing books for children. Books that he has written include A Very Small Seed Grows; Animals in the Forest Have Disappeared; Hey Penguin, How Do You Live in Antarctica?, and others.

  • lllustrator Lee Gwang-ik

    Lee studied visual design in college. Currently, he lives in Paju, where he is working hard to illustrate pictures to make fun and exciting children's books. He has illustrated JJanga; What Happened at Summer Camp?; The Dry Cleaner's Dream, and others.

  • Writer Seo Bo-hyeon

    Seo studied paedology and has worked on making children's books. Her dream is to write books through children's imagination. She has written We're Going to School Tomorrow Too; Anchovy's Dream; That's Just Right for, Rock Soup!; Why Were Markets Made?, and others.

  • lllustrator Park Su-ji

    Park studied visual design at Kookmin University. She is illustrating children's picture books with a fun and cheerful spirit. She has illustrated Tong Tong, Hurry Up!; The Sparkling Bug; It's a Secret, a Secret!; Delicious Cake; Circle, Triangle and Square Have Gathered, and others.

  • Supervising Editor Lee Nam-jae

    Lee studied piano at Seoul National University and received a PhD for music at the University of North Texas in the US. He has served as the president of the Musicological Society of Korea and is currently a professor at the Korea National University of Education. He has written Rhapsody in Blue; 17th Century Music; 18th Century Music, and others.

  • Writer Kim Mun-sang

    Kim graduated from Seoul National University's Department of Mechanical Design and received a master's degree at the graduate school of the same university. Afterwards, he received a PhD in robotics at the Germany's Technical University of Berlin, He did research on robots at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology and made the first humanoid robot in Korea, CENTAUR. Currently, he is the director of the Korea Institute of Science and Technology's intelligent robot industrial group. He has worked on KIBO, CIROS, Engkey, and other intelligent robots. He has written Robot Story; I Want to Become a Scientist, and others.

  • lllustrator Park U-hui

    Park graduated from Kyunghee University's Department of Visual Design. He has studied at the Hanguk Illustration School and worked on various projects. He has illustrated Comic Book Fan Stella Creates a Game Company; Presidential Election at the Monster School; The Monsters Have Disappeared; Why Did You Come to Our House? 1, and others.

  • Writer Kim Ji-hyeon

    Kim graduated from Sogang University's Department of Physics and worked as the director of the Ansung Observatory. Currently, he given science lectures that explain the beauty of space. He has written A Full Course Constellation Trip; Astronomy Laboratory on a Starry Night; The Star Family, Exploring the Solar System, and others.

  • Writer Park Jin-hui

    Park graduated from Seoul National University's Department of Physics and received a master's degree and PhD for history of science and technology at Germany's Technical University of Berlin. Currently, she teaches students at Dongguk University Liberal Arts Institute as an associate professor. She has written Wheels Run; The Birth of Modern Engineers(joint authorship), and others. She has translated The History of Train Travel; The Square of 10, and others.

  • lllustrator Jo Jun-cheol

    Jo Jun-cheol studied design at college and currently works as an illustrator. He has illustrated The World of Animals, Words Picture Book; I'm sorry! It's Okay; Me the Super Kid; Two Little Hands, and others.

  • Writer Kim Hyeong-ja

    Kim was the former editor-in-chief for the adolescent science magazine Newton.

    Currently, she writes for magazines published by organisations such as the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information and the Korea Industrial Technology Foundation. She has written A Day Surrounded by Science; Science Found in Holes; Science Solved through Poop, and others.

  • lllustrator Kim Hyo-jin

    Kim studied illustration at the Korea National University of Arts and at Great Britain's Kingston University. She won prizes in the Borim Picture Book Creation Contest and at Noma Concours. She has illustrated You Have to Draw by Hand to Know Our Land; Who Wants to Go to the Restroom with Me?; Which Apartment Do You Live In?; What Kind of Days Are the Holidays?, and others.
